Health Studies
My research in health studies primarily focuses on the evaluation of mortality data quality, the mechanisms linking mortality and health, and their variability. Recently, my work has centered on integrating the epidemiological mechanisms described in the health transition theory with the structural mechanisms emphasized in the social determinants of health framework. This integrative approach aims to systematically reveal the dynamic influence of social structural mechanisms on health inequalities during the health transition process. In the long term, my research will explore the nonlinear causal mechanisms of health outcomes. Selected Publications:

Family Studies
My research in family studies primarily examines the transformations in marriage and fertility patterns within the context of the digital society, with a particular focus on the potential impacts of economic instability, digital technologies, and generative artificial intelligence on contemporary romantic relationships. Social Research Methods
My research in methodology focuses on integrating empirical approaches across diverse paradigms and disciplines, primarily drawing from econometrics, mathematical demography, system dynamics, and microsimulation. Additionally, I maintain a sustained and profound interest in the history and philosophy of science, particularly the developmental trajectories of social sciences. My work seeks to clarify the ontological and epistemological foundations underlying various methodological frameworks. Selected Publications:
